SUMMARY:Soul - nature - body: a discussion open session in London
DESCRIPTION:Soul pervades nature according to the Platonic tradition: as th
 e self-moving principle that sets off all motion\, soul is intimately link
 ed with all that moves. What do we understand by “soul” and what is it
 s relation to Nature and body? We will explore how soul acts as an interme
 diary between the eternal and the temporal.\n\nThis event is free but if y
 ou can please donate £5 or more in order to cover our costs\, either as c
 ash on the day or donating through this website\n\nMost of these evenings 
 are self-contained and every effort is made to make them accessible to the
  newcomer\, while allowing the great profundity of the Platonic tradition 
 to step forward and speak to us at whatever level our present understandin
 g sits. Some of these sessions are coupled together\, in order to give us
  the space to examine more fully particular texts and themes\, but even he
 re we will ensure that if those attending have missed the first of the tw
 o sessions a recap of what has gone before will help all participants to p
 ick up the main threads of the theme.\n\nThe Trust has run similar activit
 ies for some 18 years\, and in our experience they allow the most profound
  questions concerning human life\, the nature of reality\, and our interac
 tions\, to be explored at once both seriously and with good cheer. Our ai
 m is to provide a forum for honest and straight-forward enquiry\, but whic
 h is unafraid to explore inward-moving paths too often neglected by modern
