SUMMARY:The Essentials of the Philosophy of Plato and his Tradition
DESCRIPTION:This is a course designed to give a broad view of Platonism and
  to bring to light some of the more neglected aspects of the tradition. Ou
 r particular aim is to lay before participants the possibilities of Platon
 ic philosophy as a spiritual path\, exploring the insights of the ancient 
 tradition while avoiding a dogmatic approach. The course is run over four 
 Saturday afternoons\, where the study/discussion will be underpinned by st
 udy papers and some background papers.  We will use zoom for the study se
 ssions and our space on Slack to share thoughts and materials. All times a

 n\nSaturday 16th November 2-6pm: The Soul\n\nSaturday 23rd November 2-6pm:
  Dialectic\, love and virtue\n\nSaturday 30th November 2-6pm: Myth\, initi
