SUMMARY:Platonic Forms/Ideas- an intermediate online course
DESCRIPTION:This is our online intermediate course. To find out more detail

 theme:\n\nThe Platonic doctrine of forms is a key to the understanding of 
 the divine cosmos and our own place within it.  This autumn’s intermedi
 ate course will look at Platonic forms – whether they are\, what they ar
 e\, where they are\, what things participate of forms and how\, and the na
 ture of our relationship to forms. We will look at some basic Platonic tex
 ts\, but also study some important insights on the subject from the texts 
 of Plotinus\, Proclus and Damascius. We hope to provide a selection of tex
 ts for home study which should provide continuity and depth in the 2 week 
 intervals between each study session.\n\nThis is a 7 week course\, taking 
 place on Sundays at 6pm (UK time)\, starting in January 2026. We use zoom 
 and share thoughts in between sessions on Slack. The seven sessions will r
 un on the following Sundays: 20 Sep 2026\, 4 Oct 2026\, 18 Oct 2026\, 1 No
 v 2026\, 15 Nov 2026\, 29 Nov 2026 and 13 Dec 2026. If there is enough dem
 and we will run a parallel course on Wednesdays at the same time: 23 Sep 2
 026\, 7 Oct 2026\, 21 Oct 2026\, 4 Nov 2026\, 18 Nov 2026\, 2 Dec 2026\, a
 nd 16 Dec 2026  .\n\nWe encourage those in the UK to join in with our re
