Our Resources

We offer a variety of resources. These include YouTube videos; scholarly articles, extracts and a glossary (all available as PDF downloads; links to other organisations and online resources which may be of interest.

We also run an Education Programme, with sessions in-person and online, and host an Annual Conference. We have a fully functional Slack workplace where we can chat with other people from across the world who share an interest in Platonism.

Our Slack Workspace

We have a forum for our online community hosted on the Slack platform as a forum to share ideas, resources and as a support for courses. Please use the Education email address in the footer to request an invitation link. You will need to sign up for a free account with them and abide by our code of conduct.

Online Community

As well as Slack we run a number of both residential and online courses and open sessions to encourage engagement with this philosophy and for those that can’t make it, we have suggestions and resources for individual study. Please take a more in-depth look at our different activities and courses on our Event and Education pages.

Warburg Neoplatonic Studies

A well-established and friendly Neoplatonic Reading Group is held on a weekly basis under the auspices of the Warburg Institute: it runs on Thursdays during term time from 5 to 7pm (London time) via Zoom.

The seminar is open to all – to those who have and do not have ancient Greek, to those well-versed in ancient Neoplatonic philosophy and to those who are not. The only requisite is ‘a desire to know’. Each week the seminar studies a short passage or two in English translation (though those who prefer to read the original Greek are not forbidden from doing so!).

An annual syllabus is arranged in early autumn every year to run until June.
